“Artificial Intelligence” or machine learning techniques can be applied to control parameters of artificial/synthetic ecosystem environments.
At the same time, such on-chip ecosystem devices host cell communities which respond to machine modulated ecosystem fluxes. Computer vision and time-lapse microscopy data provide the machine with optical flow patterns which correlate with cell community dynamics. The machine incorporate such “learnings” when modulating ecosystem fluxes and patch dynamics of the habitat landscape.
